I’m doing some digital decluttering on a hard drive of mine covering the period from 2014 to 2017.
Back then, I was incredibly prolific: I was living on my own for the first time, studying at university, taking the train every day and dressing in the most unlikely ways.
I had no idea that, before long, I’d be facing some incredibly difficult years of depression and the most abusive relationship of my life.
I’ve found loads of images of what inspired me most, and in the end I became everything I’d always wanted to be: here’s a little taste of that period for you.
I’ve realised that I don’t regret a thing, and that if I were back in Bologna right now, I’d do exactly the same things and be exactly the same person as I was back then 💖
I’m proud of myself.

(On the hard drive, I also found:
- a video of me making a banana dance
- all the photos from my online shop, which I ran with love back then
- entire discographies and digital music collections (we were still using MP3 players)
- photos of friends I’ve lost touch with and others who’ve stayed in my life
- millions of pictures of G-Dragon
- folders full of pastel-goth inspiration images
- dozens of quizzes we used to pass around on MSN
- strange doodles that I love
- the entire first series of the TV series "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers")
